Media Hub Skids

Media Hub Skids

Distribution of many media – compact, secure and fast

Media Hub Skids consist of a base frame and pipes on several levels. They are used for the central provision and distribution of a wide variety of media such as lubricating oil, fuel, compressed air, cooling water and district heating water in power plants. Using these prefabricated skids saves our customers a lot of time and on-site installation effort.

BoosterMeth

BoosterMeth

Retrofittable fuel module for producing diesel oil/methanol emulsions

Adding green methanol to conventional fuels as a cost-effective and quickly available solution for small and medium-sized shipping companies.
It is currently difficult to estimate which drive is the right option for complying with climate protection regulations in the next few decades. Due to the current trends towards increasing CO2 pricing and the challenge of reducing emissions in shipping, there is commercial pressure for thousands of existing ships to make ship propulsions lower in emissions by means of suitable technical modifications with the lowest possible risks and costs. The engine use of green (CO2-neutral) methanol appears to be a suitable option to meet the outlined ship operator requirements.
In collaboration with the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences (HOST), GenSys is developing a retrofittable fuel module for the production of diesel oil/methanol emulsions in the “BoosterMeth” project. The development goal is an emulsion fuel module that is operationally reliable in the long term and can be retrofitted, which enables the addition of green methanol and is provided in the form of a scalable modular system for use with various common marine diesel engines.

The “BoosterMeth” project is funded by the European Union and the European Regional Development Fund.
Project duration: 2022-2025

Capsulated Ammonia Module (CAPSAM)

Capsulated Ammonia Module (CAPSAM)

Ready for Future Fuels

International shipping must make a significant contribution to climate protection in the future.

The use of alternative fuels is an important tool in this regard. Green ammonia, which is produced worldwide, has great potential for this. In addition to engine technology, the maritime industry also faces major safety challenges and costs in ship design and fuel systems. Gensys GmbH and Neptun Ship Design GmbH jointly announce the signing of a MoA. Neptun’s design of an CAPSulated, highly automated Ammonia Module (CAPSAM) to supply maritime 2- or 4-stroke dual-fuel engines is being further developed on a project-specific basis and offered to the market. The experience and references of both companies complement each other perfectly in this project for the benefit of the common group of customers.

Container Systems

Container Systems

To offer our customers also the advantages off containerizes systems, such as easy transport, handling at site, mobility and short set up times, we can build all of our module types or a combination thereof in a standard container. Together with our Genset Containers this will allow us to deliver a nearly complete power station.

Testbed Systems

Testbed Systems

Test benches place high demands on monitoring, measurement, control accuracy and setting ranges. We meet this requirement with our supply modules for a wide variety of media.
What runs on your test bench: combustion engine, turbocharger or boiler burner?
